All you need to know about nominating NDIS providers on PACE

One of the key changes of transitioning NDIS plans to PACE is that participants will need to nominate certain providers before they will be able to receive payments for their NDIS claims.

Which providers need to be nominated?

Currently, providers who need to be nominated fall into two main categories:

  • Providers of all agency-managed supports in the NDIS plan
  • Plan managers

Existing providers that you were using before transitioning to PACE will be automatically nominated unless you specifically request to change.

Who can nominate providers?

  • The Participant
  • The Representative/plan nominee
  • Third parties who have consent to act (recorded by the NDIA)

How can you nominate providers?

Often the quickest and easiest way to nominate providers is to call the NDIS directly on 1800 800 110.

However, if the hotline is not responding, you can try contacting your NDIS contact which may be a Early Childhood Partner, Local Area Coordinator or Planner.
